Pastoral visit by Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije to Croatian capital of Zagreb

A visit by the Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, to the Croatian capital of Zagreb, on the occasion of the feast day of the Nativity of the Theotokos, the All-Holy Virgin Mary, as based on the Julian calendar, coincided with the ordination of a new priest in the body of the Church and the commencement of the academic year.
His Holiness ordained deacon Nemanja Duric as a priest of the Serbian Church during the holding of the Divine Liturgy. The Serbian Patriarch, on the same day, presided at the blessing ceremony at the chapel of St. Sava, at the Katarina Brankovic secondary school.

Afterwards, His Holiness met with pupils, teachers and administrators at the school.
