Patriarch John X meets Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs
Patriarch John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East met with His Excellency Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman.
A delegation accompanied His Beatitude including Metropolitan Ghattas Hazim (Archdiocese of Baghdad, Kuwait and Dependencies), Metropolitan Efraim Malouli (Archdiocese of Aleppo, Alexandretta and Dependencies) and Archimandrite Dimitri Mansour.
The meeting emphasised the spirit of Tolerance, coexistence and openness in the Sultanate of Oman.
His Excellency affirmed that the Sultanate of Oman is open to others.
In turn, His Beatitude thanked the Sultanate of Oman for embracing the parishioners and he stressed the message of Antioch of coexistence and strengthening the values of citizenship.
