Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, presided at the celebratory service of the Holy Ascension, held at Volos Cathedral

The Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, arrived in the central Greece city of Volos this week, where presided at the celebratory service of the Holy Ascension. He will also inaugurate the Naval Week — 2019 series of events, which this year is dedicated to Alexandria.

The Primate of the Patriarchate of Africa on Wednesday presided at the celebratory Vespers, held at Volos Cathedral of the Holy Ascension, and co-presided by several hierarchs, including the Metropolitan of Dimitriados, His Eminence Ignatios.

His Eminence referred to his long-standing friendship with the Patriarch of Alexandria, while also extolling on the gloried history of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
