Patriarch of Alexandria Theodoros II expresses gratitude to Church of Greece for its support of missionary works by Patriarchate in Africa

The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, on Sunday expressed the Alexandria Patriarchate’s gratitude to the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece for the support extended by the latter for its missionary works in Africa.

His Most Divine Beatitude spoke after officiating the Divine Liturgy at the catholicos of the Patriarchal Monastery of St. George, in the older quarter of Cairo, and on the occasion of the feast day of Dionysios the Areopagite, one of Athens’ patron saints..
