Patriarch of All Romania: Theotokos a source of great comfort, strength during trying times

The Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, on Wednesday reminded in his sermon, on the occasion of the Feast of the Annunciation that the Theotokos, the Virgin Mary, is a source of great comfort and strength during these trying times.
His Beatitude noted that “… The Virgin Mary has the heart of a mother… She is the protector of children, parents and monks in monasteries; She is the protector of the poor, the sick and those in grief”.

Schools in the southeast European country remain closed for 30 days, following a decision by the Romanian government. On its part, the Patriarchate of Romania will broadcast religious lessons for pupils daily via the Trinitas television station.
