Patriarch of All Russia lays wreath at Kremlin Wall on anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill, on Tuesday participated in events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Nazi invasion of the then Soviet Union, what is known in Russia as the Great Patriotic War.

The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame near the Kremlin Wall, as a prayer was offered for the eternal rest of the fallen.
