Patriarch of Antioch & All the East John X, Archbishop of Athens & All Greece Ieronymos co-officiate at Great Compline service in Damascus

The Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X, accompanied by the visiting Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on Tuesday afternoon officiated at the Great Compline at the Holy Cross Church in Damascus.
The Archbishop and the entire Church of Greek delegation were first welcomed at the Beirut international airport by Patriarch John, along with hierarchs of the Patriarchate.

The Patriarch of Antioch thanked the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece for the love and the humanitarian aid delivered destined for the quake-stricken of northwest Syria.

On his part, Archbishop Ieronymos said the Greek government and all Greeks contributed to the gathering of aid for the people of Syria.
