Patriarch of Antioch John X arrives in Dubai

The Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X, arrived in the Gulf state of Dubai on Wednesday to commence a pastoral visit to the Patriarchate’s vicarship in the United Arab Emirates.
His Beatitude was welcomed at the Dubai airport by the Bishop of the Emirates and Patriarchal Vicar, Gregorios Khoury, as well as by a delegation of diplomats and Orthodox clergy.

Patriarch John will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Annunciation on Friday morning, and will later meet with parishioners.
