Patriarch of Antioch John X attends con’f organized by Orthodox Youth Movement at historic monastery of Syria

The Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X, was present at a conference organized by the Orthodox Youth Movement at the Holy Monastery of St. George Al Humaira, which focused on the ongoing global public health crisis, continuous instability in Syria as well as the problems and challenges faced by Orthodoxy around the world.

In his opening address, His Beatitude referred in particular to the problems plaguing war-ravaged Syria, adding that the role of the Church’s Patriarch and Bishops is to offer testament to justice, which is none other than the truth preached by Christ in the Gospels.
