Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije briefed by minister over course of several works dealing with the Church

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Thursday received Serbian government minister Nenad Popovic, with the latter briefing the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church on the course of several works dealing with the Church and primarily financed by the state.
Among others he cited the assistance extended to the Holy Monastery of Hilandar on Mount Athos, the historic seat of the Patriarchate in Pec and Serbian Orthodox monuments and religious sites in Kovoso and Metohija.
