Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije officiates at Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Nova Gračanica in Libertyville, IIl.

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, continued a pastoral visit to the United States this week. On Wednesday, His Holiness officiated at the Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Nova Gračanica, in Libertyville, Illinois, where an urn containing the Holy Relics of St. Mardarius, the Recluse of Kiev, are preserved and venerated.
A prayer before the Holy Relics followed the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, with the Patriarch of Serbia later addressing assembled congregants, theology faculty and seminary students.
