Patriarch of Serbia receives members of Greek Economic Association of Serbia

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Monday received members of the Greek Economic Association of Serbia at the Patriarchal residence in Belgrade. The latter briefed His Holiness of their desire to support scholarships for students at the Orthodox Theology School at the University of Belgrade who want to study the Greek language.
Representatives of the association also said they are ready to participate in efforts to restore the Monastery of the Archangel Gabriel in Zemun, where the ethnic Greek community in the Serbian capital is mostly centered.
