Poland removing limit on number of people allowed in church

Beginning Sunday, May 31, Poland will remove the limit on the number of people allowed during Church services earlier introduced as part of coronavirus quarantine measures.

According to Chairman Mateusz Morawiecki of the Council of Ministers of Poland, the requirement to wear masks on the street is also canceled as of May 30, and cultural and sports facilities will open on June 6, with an allowance of up to 150 people for mass gatherings, reports UKRINFORM.

“There will be one basic principle: In a public space where it is possible to observe the 2-meter distance, the wearing of masks will not be mandatory,” Morawiecki said.

He also noted that the limit on the number of parishioners allowed during Church services will be completely removed on Sunday, May 31.
