Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković offers his condolences on the passing of Metropolitan Amfilohije

On the occasion of the death of Metropolitan Amfilohije, Prime Minister of Montenegro Duško Marković offered his condolences to the clergy, monks and believers of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral:

I received the news of the Metropolitan’s death with regret. As the Prime Minister, I cooperated and talked with Metropolitan Amfilohije about many important issues concerning the relations between the State and the Church, but also about other topics of importance for Montenegrin society.

Today, the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral lost its head, and the church in Montenegro lost its noted hierarch.

I also extend my sincere condolences to the Radović family, from which the Metropolitan came.
