Russian Church considering even stricter measures due to coronavirus pandemic

The Russian Orthodox Church has left open the possibility of enacting even stricter measures for its places of worship and affiliated institutions in the vast country, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, His Eminence Hilarion, the Moscow Patriarchate is examining whether to limit the number of worshippers in cathedrals if the outbreak persists, as well as holding Church services outside.
