Russian Church launches English and Greek versions of official website

English and Greek-language versions of the official website of the Russian Orthodox Church have officially opened.

Materials in English and Greek are available at http://www.patriarchia.ru/en/ and http://www.patriarchia.ru/gr/.

The opening of these new versions is intended to expand the audience of the Moscow Patriarchate’s official site and to facilitate access to certain important materials from the site for Orthodox believers abroad, media representatives, and those interested in receiving information on the Russian Orthodox Church.

Currently, the bulk of the translated materials are available in the “News” and “Publications” sections. Translations of certain materials are also available in the “Documents” and “Patriarch” and other sections.

The majority of the translations are being handled by the translation team of the Department for External Church Relations.

The site also has Ukrainian and Moldovan version, available since 2010 and 2011.
