Saint Paisios – From Farasa to the Heavens – episode 6

Summary:

Arsenios’ mother, Evlogia, sees her boy’s spiritual inclination, and strengthens his faith with prayers and kind words. She talks to him about humility and how he must fight evil thoughts. 12-year-old Arsenios chooses not to go to high school, but to learn how to become a good carpenter and help his family. Temptation comes a few years later, when one of his cousins tries to make him lose his faith. Arsenios goes to the chapel of Saint Barbara and, crying, begs the Lord to show him a sign that will refute everything his cousin told him, and the miracle is performed.
