Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Austria & Switzerland prays for war-ravaged Syria

The Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Austria and Switzerland this week called on the faithful to pray for the war-stricken people of Syria, and especially for the still missing Greek Orthodox Bishop of Aleppo, His Grace Paul Yazigi, the brother of the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X.

Bishop Paul and Yohanna Ibrahim, a bishop of the Syriac Orthodox Church in Aleppo, were abducted by gunmen six years ago while returning to the then rebel-besieged city on for Psalm Sunday, with their fate remaining a mystery until today.
