Serbian Patriarch arrives in the United States

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej arrived in the United States of America in the afternoon hours of February 27, 2020.

His Holiness was formally welcomed by V. Rev. Protopresbyter Milan Jovanovic at the Tampa Airport with his parishioners from the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Clearwater, Florida. Patriarch Irinej will be in the United States of America until March 5, 2020. His Holiness will preside over the Church Assembly-Sabor of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North, Central and South America to be held in Clearwater, Florida. Also, His Holiness will visit parishes of our Church in Miami, Washington D.C. and New York.

His Holiness is accompanied by a member of the Holy Synod of Bishops, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija, and protodeacon Damjan Bozic, PhD.
