Serbian Patriarch visits Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East in Damascus

The Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Irinej, this week is officially visiting the Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East in Damascus, Syria.
On Sunday, the Primate of the Serbian Church co-celebrated the Divine Liturgy with the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Holiness John X, at the Mariamite Cathedral of Damascus.

Afterwards, the Antioch Patriarch said “… Today is a joyous day, given that you are with us. As you know, the Church of Antioch is an ancient Church, among the first that accepted the Gospel of Christ and the Apostles. We also acknowledge that the Serbian Church has produced many martyrs and Saints.”
