Sima Igoumanov Foundation event at Patriarchal residence in Belgrade

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, on Wednesday attended a festive event held at the Patriarchal residence in Belgrade by the Sima Igoumanov Foundation, during which 13 scholarships were awarded to pupils and university students of large-member families.

Speaking during the event, the Patriarch of Serbia thanked Foundation benefactors Miliovan and Dragan Popović, for their support, while adding that “…God willing, I am sure there will be people who will recognize the importance of this action and idea, and I believe next year we will have many more scholarship recipients.”
