St John the Baptist Parish Feast – Haringey
On Wednesday, 7 January 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided at Matins and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St John the Baptist, Haringey, on the occasion of the Parish Feast and the Synaxis of St John the Baptist. His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Claudiopolis concelebrated with His Eminence.
Among those concelebrating were the Very Revd Archimandrite Vasileios Emmanouel, visiting from Greece, the Very Revd Archimandrite Nikodemos Anagnostopoulos, the Revd Oeconomos Nikolaos Kokkinos, the Revd Presbyter Konstantinos Mamouris, and the Revd Archdeacon George Tsourous.
During the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence ordained four readers: Nathaniel Russell-Jones, Ilias Anagnostopoulos, Aineias Nousi, and Mihail Stancu.
Following the service, a community meal was offered, allowing clergy and faithful alike to gather and mark the feast in a spirit of fellowship and thanksgiving.
