The departure to the Lord of the Blessed Archimandrite Hilarion of the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood
The Patriarchate of Jerusalem announces with great sorrow, yet the sorrow in the Lord, that on Thursday afternoon, 5/18 June 2026, the Hegumen of the Holy Monastery of Mount Tabor, Archimandrite Hilarion Gramenos, fell asleep in the Lord. The departed served with zeal for many years in various ministries, mainly at the H. Monastery of the Transfiguration in Mount Tabor, which he also renovated.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow, Friday, 6/19 June 2026, at 12 noon at the H. Monastery of Tabor, by His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos.
