The Ecumenical Patriarch visits the historic building of the National Library of France
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, on Tuesday, 31 March, visited the historic building of the National Library of France, where he was warmly received by its President, Mr Gilles Pécout.
Following their meeting in the President’s office, the Patriarch was given a tour of the Library’s premises by its staff, who presented to him Byzantine manuscripts and other rare books and objects from its collections.
