The Holy Eparchial Synod of the Archdiocese of Australia is set to convene

The Holy Eparchial Synod of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia will convene in an extraordinary session on 22 and 23 May 2025, under the presidency of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

During the work of the Synod, the issues on the Agenda will be examined, including the compilation of the List of Candidates for the Episcopacy.
