The Holy Eparchial Synod of the Archdiocese of Australia is set to convene

The Holy Eparchial Synod of the Archdiocese of Australia will convene in a regular session for the month of October, as prescribed by the Constitution, from the 2nd to the 4th of the aforementioned month, under the presidency of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia. During the proceedings of the Synod, the matters on the Agenda will be examined.

It should be noted that the Synod will convene following the election and ordination of Their Graces Bishop Athinagoras of Canberra, who is also a member of the Synod, and Bishop Christophoros of Kerasounta, Chancellor of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia. The Synod will take place after the conclusion of the 2nd Pan-Australian Clergy Synaxis.
