The Holy Metropolis of Sweden welcomes Archimandrite Bartholomew Iatridis to its Clergy

The Very Rev. Fr. Bartholomew Iatridis, an Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and clergyman of the Holy Metropolis of Maroneia and Komotini, Greece, has joined the Holy Metropolis of Sweden and All Scandinavia for two years on loan.

Fr. Bartholomew will assume duties of Parish Priest at the St. George Cathedral in Stockholm and serve as Secretary to His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas, effective June 5, 2020.

The aforementioned clergyman is a graduate of the University of Athens School of Theology and holds a Ph.D. from the Department of International Studies at the Democritus University School of Law. In addition, he has done graduate work at the University of the Sorbonne and holds a degree in Byzantine Music.

In addition to Greek, he speaks French, Italian, English, and Turkish.

Metropolitan Cleopas welcomed the new clergyman to the see of his Metropolis and wished him every success in his new duties.
