The Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aigialeia meets with the Ecumenical Patriarch
In a cordial atmosphere, the visit of His Eminence Metropolitan Ieronymos of Kalavryta and Aigialeia to His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew took place on Wednesday, 11 March, at the seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the Phanar.
During the meeting, His Eminence had the opportunity to exchange thoughts with His All-Holiness and to receive his patriarchal blessing for the spiritually beneficial continuation of Holy and Great Lent, as well as for the forthcoming feast of the Resurrection of the Lord.
Moreover, His Eminence Metropolitan Ieronymos conveyed to His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew the heartfelt wishes and deep respect of His Eminence former Metropolitan Ambrosios of Kalavryta and Aigialeia, as well as the greetings of the clergy, the local authorities, and the faithful people of the province of Kalavryta and Aigialeia. At the same time, he expressed the gratitude of the local Church for the continuous spiritual care of the Mother Church.
His All-Holiness wished His Eminence strength in his pastoral ministry and expressed his wholehearted blessings to all the clergy, the authorities, and the faithful people of the Holy Metropolis of Kalavryta and Aigialeia, so that the period of Holy Lent may become for all an occasion for spiritual renewal, repentance, and meaningful preparation for Holy Pascha.
The meeting concluded in a particularly warm atmosphere, as a sign of the spiritual unity and the strong bonds of ecclesiastical communion that connect the Holy Metropolis of Kalavryta and Aigialeia with the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
