The new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkey visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate
The new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ankara, Ms. Sibylle Katharina Sorg, visited the headquarters of the Ecumenical Patriarchate on Friday, 10 January 2025, on the occasion of her recent assumption of duties.
Ms. Sorg was warmly received by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, with whom she had the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest. Present at the meeting were Deacon Oikoumenios, Undersecretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod, and Mr. Konstantinos Delikostantis, Professor Emeritus and Director of the First Patriarchal Office, both graduates of German universities.
