The Opera House of Sydney will reflect the colours of the Greek Flag

Tonight our hearts rhythmically beat together as Australian-Hellenes.
In recognition of our contribution to the hospitable seashores and land of Australia, the sails of the Opera House will reflect the colours of the Greek Flag on March 25, 200 years after the war independence commenced.
His Eminence our Archbishop and Spiritual Father, our Bishops, Clergy and all faithful, thank the Premier of New South Wales, Gladys Berejiklian and Minister Geoff Lee for their efforts and support.
His Eminence also acknowledges those who worked tirelessly to achieve this, all Members of the Inter-Communities Council of NSW, as well as the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW. Much can be achieved when we continue to work as one.
