The Ordination of Metropolitan Gregorios of Ankara, yesterday at the Phanar (Video)
On the Sunday of the Holy Forefathers, 14 December 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Most Sacred Patriarchal Church of Saint George at the Phanar and performed the episcopal ordination of the Bishop-Elect of Ankara, Gregorios.
Following the Divine Liturgy, in the Throne Hall, the newly-ordained Metropolitan addressed the Ecumenical Patriarch, after which His Eminence Metropolitan Anthimos of Alexandroupolis also offered remarks.
