The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Theodoros II visited the Orthodox Diocese of Nyeri and Mt. Kenya
On November 23, 2020, after a successful visit in the Metropolis of Nairobi, The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa THEODOROS II has visited the Orthodox Diocese of Nyeri and Mt. Kenya where he was given a warm welcome together with those that accompanied him who included the Metropolitan of Nairobi and the His Grace Bishop Silvester of our Diocese.
In his address, H.B Theodoros II emphasised that “We may have different skin colors, but we were all created in the image and likeness of God and He has called all of us to serve His Church in the Continent of Africa. Don’t be destructed with voices of deceit. Be faithful to your call, love one another and remain committed to the Patriarchal Throne of Alexandria.”
A cake was cut in celebration of the Forefeast of the Birthday of the Pope which is slated for 25, November.
