The preservation programme of the manuscripts of the Patriarchate of Alexandria continues

The program of preservation of the manuscripts of the Patriarchate of Alexandria carried out by the Library of Alexandria, with the support and funding of the Leventis Foundation from Nicosia, continues at a rapid pace.

His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa who received on Wednesday, October 14, twelve (12) more preserved manuscripts of the Patriarchate, which include liturgical, monthly, musical, philosophical and theological manuscripts in Greek and Arabic, expressed his great satisfaction.

Within the framework of this program, a very important Volume will be published, out of the 100 (now preserved) manuscripts of the Patriarchate, which are also the treasure of the Patriarchal Library.

The publication has been undertaken by the Alexandrian Library, which will be completed with the great support of the Leventis Foundation.
