The Royal Hours of Christmas at the Jerusalem Patriarchate
On Friday morning, December 21-2019/ January 3-2020, Matins was held at the Monastic Church of Saints Constantine and Helen of the Hagiotaphite Brotherhood.
For pilgrimage reasons the Royal Hours of Christmas were added to this Service, but according to the Typikon the Service of the Royal Hours is on Monday December 24-2019 / January 6-2020.
The Service was officiated by H.H.B. the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos, who read the Gospel of the 1st Hour, while the Gospels of the other three Hours were read by Archbishops of the Patriarchate.
