The Sunday of Orthodoxy at Saint Stephanos in Yesilköy
With due ecclesiastical splendour, the Sunday of Orthodoxy was celebrated at the Holy Church of Saint Stephanos in the namesake community, under the jurisdiction of the Holy Metropolis of Derkoi.
On the morning of Sunday, 9 March 2025, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a Hierarchical Memorial Service was held for the repose of the souls of all pious and Orthodox Christians who fought and gave their lives for the Orthodox faith. This was followed by the procession of the Holy Icons.
