Turkish tourism video again engages in misrepresentation of Hellenic monuments, culture in the country

Another tourism-related video produced by Turkish tourism officials insists on transforming anything related to millennia-long Hellenic civilization and Greek culture into a “… Turkish Treasure”, as the promotional video claims.

Shown on the Internet, the video invites visitors and holiday-makers to admire the Haghia Sofia’s intricate mosaics, while another references the Alexander Sarcophagus, the iconic late 4th century BC Hellenistic marble artifact adorned with bas relief carvings of Alexander the Great.
