Twin celebrations of Annunciation of the Theotokos, Greek Independence Day celebrated in Sydney

The Feast of the Annunciation was solemnly celebrated on Thursday at the celebrating Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation in Redfern, Sydney. The Metropolitan of Sebastia, His Eminence Seraphim, officiated at the Divine Liturgy which was con-celebrated by the Bishops Iakovos of Militopolis and Emilianos of Meloa.

Afterwards, the Hierarchical Head of the cathedral, Archimandrite Fr. Christoforos Krikelis, read out a message by the Archbishop of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, for the twin celebration of March 25.
