Visit of St Monicas Catholic College to the Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, Victoria
On Tuesday, 5th of April, year 9 students from the Greek Language class of St Monicas Catholic College visited the Greek Orthodox Parish of The Transfiguration of Our Lord in Thomastown.
They where greeted by His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta and given a tour of the Church by the parish priest Fr George Frangos. The students had the opportunity to ask questions of His Grace, who gave them an insight into the Church and how each and every person forms a small part of a the wider church family.
After a lively discussion with many questions and answers, Bishop Evmenios extended the best wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios for a blessed Easter.
