Visit of the Deputy Ambassador of the USA in Ankara, to the Theological School of Halki
On Sunday, 8 January 2023, the Deputy Ambassador of the American Embassy in Ankara, Mr. Scott Oudkirk, made a private visit with his family to the Theological School of Halki. The distinguished guests were received by The Abbot of the Holy Monastery of the Holy Trinity, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos and the monastery’s brotherhood.
During his meeting with the American official, His Grace Bishop Kassianos referred to the history and rich contribution of the Theological School to theological education and the Church.
The visitors were shown around the Great Synod room, the classrooms, the Monastery Chapel, the Library and other areas of the School, and were lead in tour by His Grace Bishop Kassianos.
