Today 1.12.2019 is WORLD AIDS Day and the Uganda Orthodox Church carried out national-wide prayers at all Orthodox Centers in Uganda in commemoration of the Victims of the AIDS scourge with the main prayers at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral Namungoona presided over by Archmandriate Constantinos Mbonabingi alongside other clergies, Fr. Ksaule Stelios, Fr. Anastasios Isabirye and Fr. Emmanuel Kiwanuka. Detailed information in regards to the HIV/AIDS and the view of the Orthodox Church in Uganda will be published tomorrow.
