Worshippers who have been vaccinated allowed at Church of the Holy Sepulcher services

Israeli authorities and representatives of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem approved the presence of Arab-speaking worshippers at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, on Great Saturday, for the Touching Ceremony of the lighting of the Holy Fire.
According to an announcement by the Patriarchate, faithful who have received a Covid-19 vaccination may enter the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, whereas those who have not yet received a vaccination may remain at the Monastic Cathedral of Sts. Constantine and Helen.
