Ecumenical Patriarchate receives Bulgaria’s consul general in Constantinople

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Wednesday received Bulgaria’s consul general in the Bosporus metropolis, Vassil Valchev.

Discussions focused on issues affecting the Mother Church of Constantinople as well as the Bulgarian Orthodox community of Constantinople and fraternal ties between the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Bulgarian Patriarchate.
