Serbian Church honors Greek ambassador to Serbia

The Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Irinej, on Monday bestowed the Order of St. Sava on Greece’s ambassador to Serbia, Ilias Iliadis.

The Order of St. Sava is the highest decoration awarded by the Serbian Orthodox Church.

In his comments during a ceremony at the Patriarchate in Belgrade, His Holiness Irinej again declared that the Serbian and Greek peoples are united in brotherly bonds.
