Russian Patriarch receives Catholicos of All Armenians

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill, last Tuesday received the Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II, at the Danilovo Monastery in the Russian capital.

During the meeting, His Holiness Kirill said there was nothing that can injure relations between the Russian Church and Armenians, while adding: “At the same time, questions and problems arise in daily life, which we must all together resolve.”

In Sofia, the Bulgarian Orthodox Church’s Holy Synod this week expressed its solidarity for an initiative by the Bulgarian Cabinet to further support the framework for child protection in the country.
