Kin of Cypriot independence struggle hero Pallikarides speak to the Orthodoxia news agency

The cousin and the spiritual children of Cypriot independence hero and martyr Evagoras Pallikarides, on the solemn occasion of the 66th anniversary of his execution by British colonial forces, spoke to the Orthodoxia news agency this week.
Evagoras Pallikarides was hanged on March 14, 1957 at the age of 19, the youngest and last independence fighter executed in the struggle to end colonial rule on the large island.
