The Ecumenical Patriarch received an honorary doctorate from the Theological School of Central Italy
On Wednesday, May 3, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, at a special ceremony held in Florence, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Theological School of Central Italy.
The Ecumenical Patriarch was honoured for His substantial contribution to the Ecumenical Movement, for His numerous appeals for the protection of the environment and for offering an anthropological vision based on a clear Christological and Triadological reference.
