Archbishop-elect of Australia meets with Greek diplomats in country

The Archbishop-elect of Australia, His Eminence Makarios, this week met with Greece’s general consul in Australia, Christos Karras, and the embassy’s commercial liaison, Katia Gigiza. On Tuesday, His Eminence received the Metropolitan of Paphos, His Most Reverend Georgios.
The latter will represent the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Cyprus in Makarios’ enthronement ceremony, set for Saturday, June 29 at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of Our Lady, in the Sydney suburb of Redfern.
