Archbishop Georgios of Cyprus at the Metropolis of Chalcedon
His Beatitude Archbishop Georgios of New Justiniana and All Cyprus, during his official visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, also visited on Monday, 6 March 2023, the Holy Metropolis of Chalcedon.
His Beatitude was warmly received and welcomed by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, the clergy, the president and members of the Coordination Committee of Chalcedon, members of the Philoptochos Association, as well as members of of the Educational Association of Moda and the pious people at the Holy Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon welcomed and addressed His Beatitude upon his arrival.
Afterwards, the Archbishop of Cyprus and his entourage visited the Metropolitan Palace, where they were welcomed by His Eminence Metropolitan Emmanuel, followed by his assistant Bishop, His Grace Bishop Smaragdos of Dafnousia, and his Chancellor Archimandrite Evgenios Karatzas.
