Cincture of Theodokos, the Haghia Zoni, conveyed from Vatopedi Monastery this month (VIDEO)

The Cincture of the Theotokos, known as the Haghia Zoni, or Holy Sash, in Greek, will be successively venerated in the Greek cities of Drama, Porto Lagos and Corinth over the coming period — as the Holy Relic of the Blessed Virgin Mary will temporarily be conveyed from the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, accompanied by Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of Vatopedi, and other Elders of the Monastery.
The Haghia Zoni will be venerated in the northern Greek city of Drama from June 20 to June 23; at Porto Lagos, in extreme NE Greece, from June 23 to June 25, and finally, in the southern city of Corinth from June 25 to June 30.
A video is posted today on the pages of the Orthodoxia News Agency of the last time the Haghia Zoni was conveyed from the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi.
