Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts performed in Elbasan-area village of Fikas

The Byzantine rite Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was performed this week at the village of Fikas, in central Albania’s Elbasan county, with the participation of students from the university Logos, accompanied by the Metropolitan Bishop of Apollonia and Fier, His Eminence Nikolla.

His Eminence Nikolla officiated at the Divine Liturgy, later explaining the significant of the Holy and Great Easter Week in the lives of the faithful, as well as the supreme message of the Resurrection of the Lord.

The students later visited and toured St. John Vladimir Monastery of Shijon.
